Discover the Christmas tradition in Faedo, a small village nestled among woods and fields, which hosts the largest Nativity scene in Trentino.
Nativity Scene
In the magical setting of the historic center, made up of vaulted passages, narrow streets, cellars, and arcades, you can immerse yourself in the peasant life of the past with a completely original installation, consisting of more than 80 life-size statues engaged in various daily activities. In an old stable, at the end, you will find the Nativity. A unique route that allows you to discover, together with the magic of Christmas, the features of a small village that still preserves the charm of times gone by.
The Nativity scene can be visited free of charge every day at any time from Sunday, November 30 until Monday, January 5.
The Market of the Star
Among the various scenes, on the following dates, you can find the market of handicraft products set up in the old stables and cellars:

In the market there will also be some food stalls where you can delight your palate with hot drinks, sweets, and homemade dishes, to enjoy an authentic culinary experience.
Singing of the Star

On the eve of Epiphany, the lights of the village of Faedo are turned off to make way for torches. A long procession of figures (shepherds, animals, and the Magi), following a shining star, goes through the streets of the village singing ancient Christmas carols. An ancient tradition, waiting to be experienced.
