Located on a charming 17th century farmstead in Mezzocorona, in the heart of the Rotaliana Königsberg, the Agritur Antico Fienile is run with dedication by the Fedrizzi family. This farmhouse offers a relaxing holiday in an atmosphere that combines history and modernity. The rooms are spacious and some also have a practical kitchenette. In the same building, you can delight in the refined dishes of the recently renovated Ristorante Elementi. If you are passionate about outdoor activities, the Agritur is the perfect base for your adventures: either on two wheels, being only 500 metres from the cycle path, or fishing, being a certified Fishing Lodge.
History The farmstead was founded during the time of the Prince-Bishops in the XVII century. It survived the invasion of Napoleon’s troops in 1796, when the ecclesiastical states were secularised bringing to an end the Prince-Bishopric of Trento, which became part of Austria. At the end of the XVIII century, in the period of rural economy, the mainstay of the area, it was gradually transformed from a ‘Maso Chiuso’ - a self-sufficient farmstead - into a small cultivation property. In the second half of the XIX century, following the diversion of rivers and streams, farmers began reclaiming land from the marshes, making it fertile and cultivable, marking the beginning of the current era and the predominance of Teroldego Rotaliano wine, with its ruby colour and purple tones.
