Torre di Visione

The main route to reach the Vision Tower starts from Vigo di Ton and is marked as one of the Anaunia Trails (trail no. 1). The path begins along the road leading to the sports field (via Valle), just after the intersection with via al Doss, where you will find the signs. From here, take the marked dirt road to the right (trail no. 1 Vision Tower), which immediately crosses the Rinassico stream.

Continue straight ahead, without taking any forks, following the trail also marked as 516A. From this point, the "real" climb begins, though it is not very demanding, with a total elevation gain of about 150 meters.

The ascent continues through a beech forest until you reach a panoramic viewpoint with a picnic area. From here, the trail descends toward a small saddle, where you will find trail 516B, which descends steeply toward the Rocchetta.

The first viewpoint offers a wide view of the entire Val di Non, while a little further on, you will find the one overlooking the Rotaliana-Königsberg.

The return is along the same route.

If you want to shorten the walk, it is possible to start from Masi di Vigo, specifically from the parking lot near the church.

But be careful: this route is indeed shorter, but entirely uphill.

Take the marked dirt road, no. 516 toward Bodrina, and after two hairpin bends, you will meet the trail coming from Vigo di Ton. Here, turn right following the marked trail 516A.

This variant is about 2 km long and gains 250 m in elevation. It takes approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. The return is along the same path.

The third variant is the steep ascent from the Rocchetta. Start from the Rocchetta parking lot and head toward the old, now-closed road. Immediately on the left, you will find the signs for trail 516B, which climbs through the trees.

This route is the most challenging, as the climb is steep. It is about 400 m of elevation gain over only 1.5 km. The trail is steep and exposed but does not present particular technical difficulties. However, if you are with children, we strongly recommend taking the trail from Vigo di Ton.
