Our origins are tied to the silver mines that operated from the Middle Ages until the 1950s.
Today, we are families of winemakers: we tend the vineyards on our hillside like gardens. We adorn them with colorful roses, which you’ll notice along the road when you come to visit us.
We produce red wines from ancient grape varieties like Lagrein and Schiava, as well as white wines and Trento DOC sparkling wines.
From up here, you can enjoy the view over the Piana Rotaliana, crossed by the silver ribbons of its rivers, and the Monreale Castle.
At the entrance of the village, you’ll find two churches: the oldest dates back to the 1200s. Here, you can leave your car and stroll through medieval arcades and narrow streets, past flower-filled balconies and figures honoring ancient trades.
If you visit in December, you can see our life-sized nativity scene spread throughout the village’s old arcades.
