1. CLIMBING VIA FERRATAS
Take on the via ferratas in Rotaliana Königsberg, winding through canyons and forest trails. These routes are located at “low altitude” and can therefore be enjoyed all year round.
Along the climb, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the valley and the vineyards below, while crossing caves, ladders, steps, and waterfalls.
If it’s your first via ferrata experience, you can be accompanied by an alpine guide who will teach you how to properly use the safety kit and the necessary techniques. That way, you can focus entirely on the experience while the guide takes care of your safety. | Discover our via ferratas
2. DISCOVER THE AREA BY BIKE
Explore Rotaliana Königsberg by bike. Ride along the Giro del Vino 50, a cycling route that stretches from Roveré della Luna to Lavis, covering the entire territory.
You’ll pass through some of the most picturesque villages in Trentino’s wine-growing heartland, cycling gently among vineyards, rivers, scenic hills, historic hamlets, and farmsteads, surrounded by the flavors of local products.
In no time, you’ll be immersed in the landscape and admiring unforgettable views!
If you wish, you can also be accompanied by a bike guide, who will lead you to the most fascinating spots in our area. | Discover the routes

4. FISHING IN RIVERS AND STREAMS
Crossed by the Adige River, the Noce and Avisio streams, and the Caldaro canal, Rotaliana Königsberg offers fishing enthusiasts plenty of areas populated with different species: marble trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, chub, pike, grayling, and many others.
If you’d like to try this sport, you only need to purchase a guest fishing permit, available online or at authorized offices in the area, and check the access zones.
If you’re a beginner and want to spend an unforgettable morning, we recommend trying the “Fishing and Breakfast at Dawn on the Noce” experience, accompanied by an official Trentino Fishing guide. | Learn more about fishing areas and permits

6. PICNICKING BY HIDDEN LAKES
At the foot of our mountains, among hills, vineyards, and rivers, you’ll find spots immersed in nature, perfect for a picnic or simply a moment of relaxation.
We recommend the Laghetto del Sole, ideal for resting and cooling off thanks to the grassy area and natural setting, and the Laghetto dell’Ischia, home to several fish species and equipped with a dedicated picnic area.
Located close to each other, both can be reached in a short time from Mezzocorona or Mezzolombardo with a pleasant walk through the vineyards.
7. SKYRUNNING ON MONTE DI MEZZOCORONA
Skyrunning—literally “running to the sky”—is the sport for those of you who love a challenge that combines physical effort with full immersion in nature.
If you’re passionate about it, or want to give it a try, don’t miss the ascent of Monte di Mezzocorona. The trail starts from the village of the same name and climbs up to 891 meters above sea level.
The SAT 500 trail rises steeply above the Rotaliana Plain, beginning in the forest and gradually opening up as you climb, following the mountain’s rock face.
Thanks to its features and the spectacular views, for us in Mezzocorona it’s an open-air gym we enjoy in every season. | Discover the trail
