As you may have gathered, we are very connected to the Adige River: for centuries, we welcomed travelers moving along its waters.
Precisely because of our strategic position, in 1147, the Augustinian monks founded their convent. You can glimpse it from every corner of the village, highlighted by the facade of the Baroque church of San Michele Arcangelo.
Today, around this complex, you'll find a school and a renowned research institute, while inside, there's the METS - Museo etnografico trentino San Michele (Ethnographic Museum of Trentino San Michele).
At the Agricultural Institute, our grandparents, parents, and many of us were educated, while at the Edmund Mach Foundation, researchers and technicians from all over the world support our work with new knowledge.
We are proud farmers: we cultivate international and local grape varieties to obtain wines and especially sparkling wines that tell the story of the territory.
